INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
“I know I should be happy, but I’m just not."
"I'm such a failure.  I hate myself!"
"I feel so overwhelmed.  I don’t know where to start, so I just don’t.  I can't get anything done."

Do any of these statements sound familiar?  If so, I can help!  Individual counseling addresses developmental issues, current or past problems, experiences, thoughts, feelings, or relationships.  I will work alongside you to help promote positive changes in your life.  We can accomplish this through identifying irrational thoughts, self-defeating behaviors, and unhealthy beliefs and replace these with new perspectives, skills, and behaviors.  

Counseling is a useful means of self-growth and self-actualization.  The result is often a release from the old negative life scripts and an increase in positive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors…Hope-focused living. 

Individuals commonly seek counseling for:  Stress, depression, anxiety, addictions, body image issues, self-esteem issues, guilt / shame, post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, communication issues, physical or mental issues, or grief.
